Staying one night in Lagos....

From Lisbon we travelled south along the coast down to a cute little village on cliffs above the ocean. After numerous delays and challenges, we have finally settled into our hotel here in Lagos along the southern coast of Portugal in the region called the Algarve.  There are beautiful sea cliffs, caves and beaches to explore tomorrow.  But in the meantime we need to recover from jet lag and culture adaptation to language, traffic, culture, food, etc.  It's amazing how those seemingly small things can zap you when in a totally exhausted state!  Lagos is truly and authentically Portuguese in every way.  Will be posting some pictures tomorrow of the village--narrow streets, houses, businesses and scenery.  So stay tuned!  We also intend to go see where my late Aunt Inge used to live and host guests in her vacation home.  Looking forward to that! Here's one pictures I took at a scenic view point along the way today.
